I’m Joao (think ‘wow’ with a soft ‘j’ – cringeworthy explanation but it works). I’m based in Frome, Somerset, and focus on commercial photography specialising in People, Products, and Property.
I’ve come to professional photography after a career mostly centred around editorial and event production but you would have typically found me camera in hand over the past four decades. Life doesn’t always work out the way you plan it so, later than expected, here I am.
Growing up trilingual between four European countries rewarded me with a multicultural perspective which has repeatedly benefitted my professional (and personal) life, and it’s something I’m again finding to be an advantage in my photography.
I’m personable, easygoing, relaxed, but meticulous, consistent, methodical. I work diligently to get clients the images they need and hope for.
